Healing Waters Spa is a boutique day spa located on Edmonton’s Whyte Avenue and has been a part of the Old Strathcona community since 2003.

We are a space that is committed to offering excellent client care and incredible wellness treatments. Our ideal therapist(s) would be someone who is dedicated to:

• • Active listening
  • Providing an excellent, evidence-based, therapeutic practice
  • Supporting the wellness/lifestyle of their clients
  • Offering sound homecare/treatment recommendations
  • Practices within their scope
  • Demonstrating integrity

Versatility and a learners mindset are required. Must be able to offer 30, 45, 60, 75 and 90-minute treatments. Experience in prenatal massage, myofascial cupping treatments, and other modalities such as craniosacral, reflexology and aromatherapy are an asset!

We have 3 treatment rooms that are shared amongst staff members. All treatment rooms have hydraulic tables, hot towel cabinets, and additional pillows/bolsters. We have full-time reception coverage, online booking, and offer direct billing for some insurance companies (Sunlife & Alberta Blue Cross).

We are a team-focused environment when it comes to staff and clients. We are an open-minded, supportive, and women lead company!

Candidates must have 2200+ hours of education, be registered and licensed to practice in the City of Edmonton, be members in good standing with their associations.

Compensation is based on scalable commission and gratuity. Staff discounts on products/services are offered. Hours/days available* are;

  • Wednesday 10-7
  • Thursday 10-7
  • Friday 10-7
  • Saturdays 10-5

• Active listening
• Providing excellent, client focused treatments
• Supporting the enhancement of wellness/lifestyle of their clients
• Offering sound treatment/product recommendations
• Practicing within their scope
• Demonstrating integrity

Versatility and a learners mindset are required. Must be able to offer body treatments (scrubs, wraps, relaxation massage), facials, pedicures, manicures, waxing and tinting. Experience in intimate waxing, and a love for body treatments are an asset!

We have 3 treatment rooms that are shared amongst staff members. All treatment rooms have hydraulic tables, hot towel cabinets, and additional pillows/bolsters. We have full time reception coverage, online booking, and advanced education opportunities with our product lines YonKa and GM Collin.

Candidates must be fully trained and certified from a reputable institute and be up to date and willing to adhere to all COVID-19 recommendations/regulations.

Compensation is based on hourly wage, product commissions, and gratuity. Staff discounts on product/services are offered. Hours/Days available* are Monday 10-5, Tuesday 4-7, Wednesday 4-7, Thursday 4-7, Friday 4-7 and Saturdays 10-5. Must be available Saturday’s and Monday’s. We are looking to EXPAND our hours (T-F 9am-8:30pm). Flexible evening schedules are appreciated.
