What treatments do you offer?
We offer a variety of treatments to promote relaxation and rejuvenation, including Hammam,

our full service menu and rates, click here. How far in advance should I book my treatment?
To prioritize your wellness and secure your preferred time, we recommend booking your
treatment in advance, especially for weekends, as these are our busiest days. Weekday and
daytime appointments tend to have more availability, but they can fill up quickly. Booking early
ensures you don’t miss out on our most popular treatments and allows you to make yourself a
priority in your self-care. Deposits may be required for package bookings, and not all treatments
are available for online booking. If you can’t find what you’re looking for, don’t hesitate to reach
out to us directly by phone or email. While we don’t accommodate walk-ins, we sometimes have
availability for same-day appointments. How do I book an appointment?
You can easily book your appointment through our online booking portal hosted by Phorest,
by calling us at 780-988-7873, or by emailing healingw@telus.net. If you haven’t visited
our facility since September 2024, you may need to register as a new client to access online booking.
For same-day requests or booking assistance, we recommend calling us directly for enhanced support. What facilities are accessible to me during my visit?
At Healing Waters Spa, we operate as a day spa, meaning all services are booked by
appointment. While we have 4,800 square feet of dedicated space, each area is specifically
designed for a treatment or service, and we do not have shared-use spaces. Unlike facility spas,
which often include accommodations and common areas, we focus solely on delivering
personalized, one-on-one treatments in private settings. We also offer couples and triple
appointments, allowing you and your guests to enjoy treatments together in a private setting. What should I bring?
● For your Hammam treatment: Please bring a bathing suit, which must be worn during the
exfoliation and wash portions.
● For the steam sauna: A towel fee is charged, but you’re welcome to bring your own if
preferred.
● If you’re using insurance: Please bring your benefit card if you’d like us to direct bill to
your insurance company. Is the facility accessible for people with reduced mobility?
Our spa is located on the second floor, and we do not have elevator access. We are able to
accommodate clients who can ascend and descend 20 stairs. While we strive to make our
facility as comfortable as possible, the absence of elevator access limits the level of accessibility
for those with mobility challenges. Please reach out to us directly if you have specific needs,
and we will do our best to assist. Can people who are pregnant come to the spa?
Yes, we offer a variety of safe and adapted treatments for prenatal clients, including prenatal
massage, facials, pedicures, waxing, and a glow scrub that can be customized for side-lying.
However, due to the high heat, we do not offer treatments such as wraps, hammam, or steam
appointments for pregnant clients. If you’re expecting, feel free to reach out to us for guidance
on the best treatments for your needsWhat products do you use?
At Healing Waters Spa, we use a variety of high-quality products to enhance your experience,
including:
● GM Collin (Canadian)
● Yonka Paris (France)
● SpaRitual (USA)
● Moor Spa (Canadian)
● Pure Potent Wow (Canadian)
● Oak and Aspen (Local)
Each brand is chosen for its effectiveness and commitment to quality, ensuring the best results
for our clients.Do you issue receipts for insurance purposes?
We issue receipts exclusively for registered massage therapy services, as spa services are not
eligible for insurance reimbursement. We also offer direct billing to most insurance companies.
For flex spending accounts and other flexible insurance programs, it’s the customer’s
responsibility to pursue reimbursement.
Hammam & Steam
What is Hammam?
Hammam, meaning “bath” in Arabic, is a luxurious spa experience that combines steam,
exfoliation, and a hydrating lotion application. It has been our signature treatment for over 20
years, and after extensive renovations, we’ve elevated the Hammam experience in our new
space. Indulge in the soothing warmth of a private steam room, followed by an invigorating
exfoliation and wash on a heated bench using a traditional Kese. The experience is completed
with a luxurious lotion application. Hammam is available for individuals or groups of two, offering
a truly rejuvenating experience. How long are your steam room bookings?
Steam room sessions are available in 30-minute or 45-minute options for both solo guests and
groups of 2 guests.
We offer two types of experiences:
● Traditional Steam – A pure steam experience
● Luxury Steam – Includes towel service, aromatherapy, salt scrub & lotion, and facial
cream
Tandem steam sessions also include wraps.
Enhancements such as facial masks, hair masks and shower steaming pucks are available for
purchase to further customize your experience.Who should avoid using the steam room?
Steam rooms are not suitable for everyone. Please consult your doctor before use if you:
● Are pregnant, as high heat can pose risks.
● Have heart disease or blood pressure issues.
● Have respiratory conditions such as asthma or COPD.
● Are prone to dizziness or fainting.
● Have open wounds or infections.
● Are sensitive to heat or prone to overheating.
● Have recently consumed alcohol or drugs.
If you feel lightheaded or unwell, exit the steam room immediately and hydrate.
